Direct airline between Chengdu and Tel Aviv

A new international direct flight is drawing chengdu closer to Israel. The reporter from the port and logistics office of Chengdu city, says that Sichuan airline (3U) will open new airline between Chengdu and Tel Aviv in the middle of August in 2018 , which will be the third domestic airline company openning direct flight to Israel after HU & CX airlines.

Currently, the only cities on the mainland with direct flights to Israel are Beijing and Shanghai. Guangzhou is planning to open direct flights to tel aviv in August too. It is known that sichuan airlines will use airbus A330 double-channel wide-body aircraft, two flights a week, scheduled for Wednesday, Sunday each week.

Statistics show that the number of annual visitors between China and Israel has now exceeded 350,000, accounting for about 2% of the annual passenger of tel aviv's Ben Gurion international airport. After the direct flight to tel aviv, chengdu will further promote the exchanges and cooperation between China and Israel.
